My wonderful husband gave me a bunch of money yesterday so i can get paint and accessories to renovate our bathroom attached to our bedroom! I spent forever at Walmart with my new neighbor (god it is so nice to finally have someone around here). I ended up just getting paint and towels as I'm not willing to pay 20$ just for a bin and then another 30-40$ odd for the rest of the set. I felt bad spending the money as i know my love really wants to get his new tires which are now super cheap on offer. Hopefully we get our taxes back soon. Im so excited for the colours i chose. The walls are going to be a bit lighter then GRANNY SMITH APPLE GREEN and the towels are BLACK..woop.
I shall post before and after pictures but it will probably take me a while. I have to get rid of all the old ugly gold towel racks and the horrible wood toilet paper holder and soap thingy and stuff. The toilet will eventually be replaced to. We looked at Home depot yesterday and they were like 80$ which is way less then what i expected. I cant wait to start on it. Lets hope i do a good job haha.
Well apart from the fact i am super excited about painting im not so excited about the fact the siren just went off on tv that we are on Tornado warnings today. It was so nice yesterday. We went down to the creek where everyone met up to swing and jump into the river and have a cold beer. I have been down there many times before but yesterday was the most fun i had. This morning i went out to let the dogs in the backyard and it was beautiful and now (an hour later) the sky is grey and it just looks miserable. Lets hope its just a little wind and nothing else.
Oh and i bought a defusier thingy for the bathroom where you put the sticks in and they soak up the juicy stuff in the bottle to make the bathroom smell nice but i cant figure out how to take the cap off haha. It says take the cap off and put the sticks in so i did but there is a plastic thing still inside the bottle and i cant punch a hole in it for the sticks. Im pretty sure im just having a blond moment lol.
Well i hope everyone had a good weekend. I know i had a good one =) Im off to clean and the start on my bathroom eeeeek.
